There’s an ad running on TV in the UK at the moment - a guy on a therapist’s couch recites lines from various famous ads -

So little Mummy and me were sat watching Christmas TV (I’m guessing it was either Poirot or Miss Marple - it usually is) and the advert came on.

Seen the latest tango ads? (Hmmm perhaps they’re not really that recent, I’m ’so 2000 and late’ - sorry loves)
Anyways, I heart them. I think they should sell the posters so I can paper them walls of my flat with them…

Ah advertising agencies. Sometimes they get it so very, very wrong.
Or indeed perhaps, sometimes the advertising agencies are just victims of over-zealous clients who believe unerringly in their own perfect slogan (the client is always right.. accept when they’re wrong).
