So my loves, as you know I just love to share with you the weird and wonderful stuff I stumble across on the interwebz - and this one is just a perfect mix of geek and nostalgia.
A guy called Ben Heckendorn has created a fully functional C64 laptop - and he’s used the original motherboard. I am astounded by his genius, and I really want one, although I’m not quite sure what the hell I’d do with it.
Wanna see? Here are some images (taken from Ben’s post):
Read all about how he built it.
Just amazing huh?

Ah, this has brought out my inner retro geek. Although I must admit to never owning a C64, i used to play it round my friends after school all the time back when girls were icky and all we cared about was Treasure Island Dizzy.
I had the Sinclair Spectrum 128k +2, which I loved - even with its limited colour palate (about 4 colours!). I then jumped to the Amiga A500.
Now, find me an Amiga laptop and i’ll break out my credit card!
